Virtual and dedicated server systems
This offer addresses customers, who need their own server for professional use on the internet. The exact server configuration can be done by the customer itself or through the 123domain support staff. Thus it is possible to combine a certain database system and web server services not included in the standard webspace packages.
Basic configuration
As a basis for the systems a virtual server or a dedicated server within an 19“ rack is used. All servers have one or more ip addresses and are initially equipped with web-, email-, ftp- and ssh-services including a root login.
Exact hardware specifications of dedicated server systems can be defined by the customer within large bounds in a personal offer.
Auxiliary services
Amongst others the following auxiliary services are possible:
- mail system (configured by use of the 123domain.eu domain management tool)
- backups of the whole system or only certain directories
- firewall
- spam protection
- virus filters
- 24h emergency telephone number with standby of a professional
